Yesterday, the user BitcoinArtist announced on the Reddit website that he had written and integrated a tippr-like bot with the Telegram instant messaging app, making tipping and payments possible trough it.
Tipping bots are programs that allow users on social networks to give tips and make payments with cryptocurrencies on social networks and websites. These are awesome tools to democratize access to a given criptocurrency with zero fees, mostly to new users.
The tip bot features centralized platform tipping, a la tippr (the most known tip bot from Twitter and Reddit), instead of decentralized wallet tipping like chaintip. Users don’t have to set up a wallet to receive tips. The bot features custom Pepe memes according to the user actions. If you tip a cheap amount, there’s a meme for that too.
